Bella Vista Outdoors was created to celebrate the natural beauty, outdoor adventures, wildlife, and photography opportunities found in Bella Vista, Arkansas, and throughout the Ozarks.
Whether you’re a long-time resident, a newcomer, a visitor planning a trip, or simply someone who loves nature, you’ll find stories, photographs, local discoveries, and outdoor inspiration here.
Bella Vista is known for its beautiful lakes, scenic trails, waterfalls, forests, wildlife, and four distinct seasons. From colorful dogwoods in the spring to vibrant fall foliage, there is always something new to explore and enjoy.
One of the goals of this site is to share that beauty through both words and photography. Many of the images you’ll see throughout the site are provided by local photographer Dave Melear, whose photographs capture the peaceful lakes, misty mornings, wildlife, and hidden corners that make Bella Vista such a special place.
